Hi, my name is Gretchen,
and I write, mostly online,
although I do have a novel,
No Sensible People, and a
poetry collection The Long
and Short of It, available on

I live in the suburbs outside of
Minneapolis with my college
aged kids, my cat and my
daughter's guinea pig.
My first love and educational
background is in writing. I've
been writing creatively since
I was six years old, and hold
my degree in
Literature/Creative Writing.
I've worked the gamut of
Customer Service/
Processing jobs in Human
Services, Education, Media,
and Finance. But I'm entering
a phase in my life where I
want to work more for myself
and the little guy (non-profits
or small businesses) and less
for the big corporations. I've
have nothing against
corporations, just need a
break from the culture.
